Spiel Messe '24, Europe's largest tabletop gaming convention, never ceases to amaze!

If you're a tabletop gaming enthusiast, there are certain conventions you simply can't miss, especially if you're looking to discover new releases and stay up-to-date on the ever-evolving industry. That's why you should visit the Spiel convention in Essen: even this year, we at Pwork Wargames were present, not only as a company in the sector, but above all as true enthusiasts!

Spiel ’24 took place from October 4th to 6th and, once again, confirmed its status as the largest European tabletop gaming convention. As tradition dictates, we at Pwork Wargames were there (Hall 1), ready to make our contribution alongside many other companies specializing in miniature games, wargames, role-playing games, and card games. Of course, Hall 1 is just the first of the six that make up this incredible international event!

We finally had the opportunity to present Altar of the Dead Gods to an international audience, the first game published by Pwork Wargames: our agnostic, Lovecraftian-themed skirmish arena! The two authors, Paolo and Michele, were also present at the booth for the occasion, delighting the dark gods with their rituals. We would like to thank everyone who came to try it out and meet them. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that "Altar of the Dead Gods" will soon be available in digital format in Spanish, French, and German!

Last year, Spiel had already hosted the presentation of our RPG Tokens for role-playing games, but this was the first time they returned to the convention sporting the OnTableTop Industry Awards 2023. We saw many players and game masters take advantage of these kits to enrich their sessions, combining them with the Fantasy Tiles, which are constantly updated!

Our greatest satisfaction remains seeing new and old wargamers create new tables or expand existing ones, carefully selecting our game mats and scenic elements to bring to life scenarios that perfectly integrate with their armies and favorite settings. This year, Pwork Wargames has satisfied even more fans of fantasy settings with new MDF kits: The Inn, Town Houses, Graveyard, The Village, Woods, Dead Woods, and much more!

Were you at the Spiel ’24 convention? Did you enjoy this fantastic show?

What would you like to see at the next convention, and what particularly impressed you in this edition?
