The Stone – Wet Palette Sponge

The Stone Wet Palette Sponge is the essential item for every miniature painter using a wet palette.

Made of a high-density, porous material, it holds up to 15 times its weight in liquid without dripping. The Stone should be used damp and has excellent water and paint retention. It's perfect for controlling, measuring, and modulating brushstrokes when using all diluted techniques.

Essential for best performance with acrylic colors, the Stone prevents excessive water and color transfer, eliminating the risk of errors, smudges or unwanted stains on your work.

When dry, the sponge becomes hard (like stone!), super light and easy to store anywhere, even conveniently in your brush case.

Instructions for use

1. Slightly dampen the sponge before use.
2. Place the brush on it after having dipped it in water and color
3. Paint
4. Wash the sponge after use to remove any paint residue.

Once the sponge has dried it will become hard, allowing for better water absorption during its next use.

To clean the palette better, first squeeze the sponge lightly and then rub the surface of the palette.

It is recommended to replace it after 6 months (variable individual use).
